I have honestly not worn a hat all week. I haven't had time to be outside, and therefore no need for a hat..
So here's a hat from when I was 6.... (Sure wish I still had that fire-engine pedal car...)

My Brit Tweed hat...

Bucket
So today we went for another long bike ride.. On the way back home, we stopped in at the Goodwill thrift store.. (This allowed Ben to take a "potty break", plus it's sometimes fun to browse the thrift shop.) While there, I found this great hat... A reversible blue camo bucket with the cingular logo... So, for 99 cents, I got my "hat of the day"...
I know bucket hats are goofy, but they are great sun protection.. Let's face it I am a geek, so I might as well wear a geeky hat...

July 09
Ok, this is another goofy hat. It is in the style of a british tweed cap. But it's not.. It's a cheezy cotton hat I got at TJ Maxx.
Hmmm.. doubt I'll wear this very often.. not very comfortable, and doesn't look that great either.. although in this picture it's not quite as goofy as I thought it was..

Do Rag, Oh Do Rag, Oh Do remember me (oh lordy)
Ok so a "Do Rag" isn't really a hat. But it serves my purposes the same (keeps the sun off.)
I like these better then conventional hats for a number of reasons... They are lightweight and stay out of the way. The stay on in the wind, or while boarding or skiing.. And, best of all, they make me look like a pirate - (ARgH!)
However, there is one major downside... Since they have no brim at all, they have a tendency to leave a tan line all the way around my head if worn in the sun too long..
